Microsoft SQL Server DBA and Architect
Qualifications:
Five plus years experience with Microsoft SQL server, versions 2000 and 2005 required, SQL Server 2008 Experience a plus
Experience with SQL Server is required in the following areas
– Installation and Upgrades
– Database Design
– SQL Server performance tuning
– Backup & Recovery
– Reporting
– Data Transformation Services
– Job Scheduler
Experience with Log Shipping, Database Mirroring and Clustering is a plus
Windows Clustering experience is a plus
Microsoft SQL Server Certification is a plus
VMWare experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently: be creative, exercising judgment, planning and executing projects, produce summaries.
